Adult Tennis Weekend Breaks

Really enjoyed my Active Away tennis clinic, the coaches were brilliant - they kept a great pace throughout the weekend with great feedback, advice and support throughout. Plus some tips and tactics for playing the game that really clicked through practice. Thank you, look forward to next year!

The tennis Active Away Day was an outstanding success, and a huge part of that was down Joel, Martan and Jamie who led the sessions throughout the day. As a team, they worked seamlessly together, creating an atmosphere that was welcoming, energetic, and genuinely fun for participants of all abilities. Each coach brought something unique to the day — from the infectious enthusiasm and clear, patient instruction that got everyone on their feet from the very start, to the brilliant organisational flair that kept activities running smoothly and the group fully engaged, to the perfect blend of professionalism and humour that kept energy levels high right through to the final activity. Together, they struck exactly the right balance between structured coaching and light-hearted enjoyment, which is no easy feat with a mixed-ability group in an away day setting. What stood out most was how consistently encouraging and attentive all three coaches were. No participant was left feeling overlooked, and everyone — regardless of their level of experience — walked away having learned something and, more importantly, having had a wonderful time. The mini-games, team challenges, and personalised tips woven throughout the day reflected a level of preparation and expertise that was truly impressive. A massive thank you to all three coaches for making the day so memorable for me.

Great tennis experience, will definitely go again to polish and learn new tennis skills.

Dan and Marton were absolutely great coaches, this was my first tennis break and I was a bit nervous but they put me at ease straight away! It was also a really nice group of friendly people, and now I have confidence to try a trip abroad in 2027! Thanks Dan and Marton!

My first ever Active Away trip! To Hove Beach Park for a padel and tennis weekend combined… absolutely fantastic for me not to have to choose which sport as I LOVE them both! Cam was a great coach… passionate, motivational and so encouraging and super responsive and well organised in keeping us updated on our day ahead/restaurants etc. He was ably assisted by Jamie who was also super encouraging! The venue was ideally situated right by the sea and we were be able to go for drinks on the beach afterwards… perfect! I would definitely like to repeat this great experience! Thank you, Cam and Jamie for a fun weekend!

If you want to raise your level of confidence on the tennis court this course is an excellent means of doing that. Along enhancing specific skills, it makes you think more, be more strategic, stretch yourself.

What a fantastic weekend in Brighton with Cameron and the team! ☀️🎾 From the moment I booked, everything was so well organised. The communication beforehand, the preparation for the weekend, the coaching, the friendly atmosphere—it all came together perfectly. Our days were filled with training sessions and friendly matches, followed by relaxed dinners in the evenings. It genuinely felt like a proper holiday rather than just a tennis weekend. The glorious 30°C sunshine certainly helped too! 😎 What I loved most was the final match day. The way everyone was encouraged to play, regardless of ability, and how the scores were recorded made it competitive enough to be exciting, but never intimidating. As someone who’s mostly played one-to-one for years and rarely plays doubles, I felt completely at ease and had so much fun. The coaching was excellent, the encouragement never stopped, and the group couldn’t have been more welcoming. A huge thank you to Cameron, Jemie and Alana for all your coaching, patience and encouragement throughout the weekend—you made the experience even more enjoyable. If you love tennis and are looking for a weekend that’s as much about meeting wonderful people and enjoying yourself as it is about improving your game, I honestly can’t recommend this enough. As a long time, tennis player and a more recently addicted padel player… I absolutely loved the combined tennis and padel weekend at Hove Beach Park! The best of both worlds…fantastic not having to make a choice, you can do both! Cam, our coach and host, was so full of enthusiasm and passion it was infectious! Always motivating and encouraging and he was ably assisted by the lovely Jamie and Alanna… all in all a wonderful three days at a great venue by the sea… not too far from home for me either! Thank you all so much! I hope you do more of these combined sports breaks…please…!

I had my first Active Away holiday at Lyttos Mere in May. It was a great time of year to go, the weather was perfect and the facilities, courts and staff were amazing! We were hosted by Matt, and coached by Alex, Chris, Gemma, Sam and Sophie who were all amazing. The tennis drills were fantastic so everyone came away with an improved game. Thank you everyone, I’ll definitely be returning
