Your clinic begins with time to meet the other players before the coaching starts. It is a relaxed opportunity to settle in, make introductions and get ready for an afternoon focused on developing your game.

You will be training alongside adults who are there for the same reason: to learn, play and enjoy their tennis. Starting together helps create a friendly group atmosphere that continues through the drills and matchplay.

The physical warm up gets your heart rate up and prepares you to move with purpose on court. You will also have another chance to meet the players around you before the tennis begins.

This short block helps you switch your focus to the session ahead. You will be ready to react, move and make the most of the first racket-based drills.

You will split into coaching groups, with no more than one coach to six players per court. This ratio gives you space to take part, receive guidance and repeat the patterns being taught.

Groups rotate during the clinic, creating opportunities to play both up and down. This gives you experience against different styles of player and helps keep each session varied and appropriately challenging.

The tennis starts with a purposeful warm up built around split-step timing, quick reactions at the net and consistency from the baseline. You will work on staying balanced as the ball arrives, controlling your response and recovering effectively for the next shot.

These exercises help you establish the movement and contact needed for longer rallies. By improving your balance and control first, you will be better prepared to increase the intensity in the following baseline session without sacrificing consistency.

Now the focus shifts to taking greater control from the baseline. You will work on sustaining consistency, reducing avoidable errors and recognising how your individual strengths can help you influence the rally.

The aim is not simply to hit harder. You will develop the confidence to remain aggressive while maintaining enough control to stay in the point. Building on the earlier work on balance and rally tolerance, this block helps you play with clearer intent from the back of the court.

After developing your baseline game, you will move forward to work on your volleys. The 4 Quadrants session teaches you to control both height and direction, adapt your contact point and use effective positioning around the net.

You will explore how better control can keep opponents back and allow you to take charge of the court. This prepares you for the next block, where the emphasis moves from individual volley skills to operating confidently as a team at the net.

This session brings your net skills together as you learn how to become a bullet-proof team at the net. The focus is on building a stronger shared presence and using the volley control developed in the previous block within a doubles setting.

You can expect to leave this part of the clinic with a clearer understanding of how confident net play can help a pair apply pressure. It completes the pre-lunch progression from balanced rallying and baseline control to purposeful teamwork closer to the net.

It is time to take a break, refuel and get ready for the afternoon coaching. Lunch is available to purchase from the on-site cafe, which offers a selection of hot and cold food and drinks.

Please note that lunch is at an additional cost and is not included as part of the clinic. The break gives you an hour before returning to court for the Doubles Disruption sessions and matchplay.

The afternoon begins with cooperative and competitive rallies designed to rebuild your rhythm, consistency and control. You will work on sustaining longer exchanges, improving your touch at the net and sharpening your concentration after lunch.

As the rallies become more competitive, the intensity increases and your decision-making comes back into focus. This warm up prepares you for point-based doubles work, where movement and tactical choices become increasingly important.

This block shows you how fakes and poaches can disrupt opponents during a rally. You will work on your movement at the net, decide when to make your move and develop the creativity to place opponents under pressure.

Rather than remaining predictable, you will learn to influence what your opponents see and how they respond. The goal is to make more purposeful decisions, create opportunities for your team and take greater control of doubles rallies from the net.

You will then focus on return-and-volley teamwork. The session develops the sequence of driving the return, moving and switching effectively, then looking to intercept early so your team can take control of the point.

This block combines confident returning with coordinated movement from the returner's partner. You will practise these skills in competitive point play, helping you build trust in the pattern and the confidence to use it when rallies are under pressure.

The clinic finishes with matchplay, giving you the chance to apply the day's coaching in realistic points. You can bring together your baseline control, volley positioning, net teamwork, fakes, poaches, returns and interceptions while making your own decisions during play.
