Faro Airport is around 25 km from the Hyatt Regency Vilamoura Algarve, and the road journey normally takes about 30 minutes. No. The Hyatt Regency Vilamoura Algarve is a family-friendly hotel, with facilities including a children's pool. However, our hosted pickleball group is for adults, so the coaching programme, competitions and planned group activities are designed for adult players. You will still share the wider hotel and resort facilities with other guests, including families. This gives you the sociable atmosphere of an adult hosted trip while staying at a welcoming resort close to Vilamoura Beach and Vilamoura Marina.

Your three-night stay is on a bed and breakfast basis. Breakfast is included at Brasa Coastal Steakhouse, served from 07:00 to 10:30 Monday to Friday and from 07:00 to 11:00 on Saturday and Sunday. Lunches, dinners and drinks are not included, so you will pay for these locally. Lunch is free time on Days 2 and 3, and we do not organise group lunches. The hotel also has Lume Lobby Lounge, while the seasonal Terrace Pool & Bar normally operates from April to October.

Yes. We have planned three group dinners, giving you time to relax and get to know the rest of the group away from the courts. On Day 1, dinner is at Brasa Coastal Steakhouse at 20:00. On Day 2, we visit Sushi Mishi 2 at 20:00. On Day 3, dinner is at NoSolo Italia at Vilamoura Marina at 19:30. Dinners and drinks are paid locally. Transport to off-site restaurants is not included, and we recommend sharing an Uber and splitting the fare.

You will enjoy exactly 11 hours of pickleball across four days. The programme combines focused coaching with friendly, competitive match play, covering Delightful Dinks, Transition Triumph, Attackers Advantage and the Importance of the First Two Shots. You will also take part in the Active Away Continental Cup: Europe vs Rest of World and finish with the Active Away Cup. Paddle hire, equipment and extra court time are not included. Any additional court bookings are subject to local availability and payment.

The Hyatt Regency Vilamoura Algarve is close to Vilamoura Beach and a short walk from Vilamoura Marina. This gives you an easy base for enjoying the destination during your free time between pickleball sessions. You can head towards the beach, explore the marina or choose somewhere nearby for lunch, dinner or drinks. These meals and drinks are paid locally. We have not stated exact walking distances because they can vary by route and starting point, but both the beach and marina are conveniently located for your three-night stay.

The hotel offers an outdoor main pool, a children's pool, fitness centre, free Wi-Fi, concierge service, mini golf, petanque, beach volleyball and outdoor yoga. The resort is family friendly, although our hosted pickleball group is for adults. A spa and wellness area is due to open in November 2026, but this is not guaranteed. Yes, if your schedule allows. Vilamoura's leading golf courses are around a 10-minute drive from the hotel, including the Old Course, Pinhal, Millennium and Laguna. With split pickleball sessions on Days 2 and 3, a full round may be easier before or after the hosted programme, or as part of an extended Algarve stay. Golf is not included and must be arranged and paid for separately. Check tee times, green fees, club hire, equipment, dress code and handicap requirements directly with your chosen course. Hyatt currently advertises a complimentary shuttle to Vilamoura golf courses, but you should confirm its timetable, eligibility and booking arrangements with the hotel before relying on it.
