Active Away tennis holidays are a brilliant way to learn some new tennis tips and skills , in a stunning location , and have fun with new friends at the same time. The holidays are excellently organised , and the on site coaches are also your hosts , delivering instruction and great fun, both on and off court. There are many different hotels and countries to choose from. I find Liberty Lykia in Turkey to be the best, but standards are high wherever you go with Active Away.

This is our 5th time at Lydia Lykia and once again a great experience. The updated session plan worked really well and I felt the energy levels were even higher. Once again a great experience. The updated session plan worked and I felt the energy levels were higher. Thank you for getting coaches to feed. The coaches were again a credit to those that strive to get the mix right. The maturity of tiger and Marton; but it seems unfair to single anyone out. The size of the group meant did not get to meet some people until the final event. But understand cash counts. Finally Jack was on the money and upbeat. As always it feels a family

We have just come back from Liberty Lykia in Turkey where we had the most amazing time. All of the coaches go the extra mile to make sure the holiday was perfect from start to finish. This was our first time away with Active Away and wow! What a great time we had. The tennis exceeded our expectations with some great coaching plus the chance to play competitively. I’ve just come back from an incredible week with Active Away and honestly can’t recommend it enough. The coaching was outstanding — technical, encouraging and genuinely game-changing in how you think about tennis. I came away playing better than I have in years. I had private lessons with Amelia (woohoo go Amelia 🙌) and Ollie, and somehow managed to hit the best forehand of my life. What really makes Active Away special though is the atmosphere. It’s fun, social, motivating and full of people who just love tennis. The balance of coaching, match play, fitness and downtime is spot on, and the whole week feels incredibly well run without ever being overly formal. I’ve come home completely hooked on improving my tennis again — already looking at dates for the next trip 🎾

I am currently on holiday in liberty lykia in oludinez and saw there was a tennis academy on the hotel resort. I went down to book an individual lesson and was greeted by Tomas a coach for active away. We booked a session for the following morning and I learned so much and gained a lot more knowledge about tennis in that hour than I have from any other coach. The AA team are so friendly and helpful, they manage look after everything so you just turn up with your tennis racquet, get enjoy skilled coaching drills, friendly social tennis plus all inclusive food and drink at a lovely hotel. Fantastic location, fantastic Tennis and brilliant coaches. It’s my third trip with Active Away and it’s genuinely my favourite holiday. What’s really good is how everybody mixes in from day one because the coaches also host the event socially so you could go on your own or as a group and you can basically socialised as much or as little you want

The food is excellent (so much choice) and the water water park is probably the best I've been toOur whole family came home feeling refreshed, active, and connected. My wife and I have done several holidays with Active Away. With more booked for next year. Once you try one you just want more. It’s a lot more than just a tennis holiday. It’s a fantastic social event with like minded people, and amazing coaches.

Another well organised event in coaching and hosting for the daytime activities and for the evening events, they made a great effort to ensure that all the guests were included, they also knew if someone was missing from the party..The drills were simply demonstrated before putting into practice in the mornings, and in the afternoon, the match play was watched by the coaches encouraging us all on to use the lesson of the day and applauding any great tennis they saw.The evening meals to the various restaurants the were accompanied by the coaches, and ensuring that our personal food requirements was satisfactory.

We were a group of 6 players all from county teams. We really learned new tactics and strategies in doubles at the same time enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and social activities. We went on the Turkey - Liberty Sentido Experience. It was absolutely beautiful. You will love the legendary Active Away Team! We didn’t feel like guests, we felt like friends. From point of booking to point of leaving the hotel at the end of the holiday (sad at that point!), they take you under their wing and show you the best luxury holiday and tennis experience you will ever have. Over the Tennis Coaching Sessions, I took several pointers out of each drill that they taught and it has completely changed my game for the better. This was our first trip with Active Away, and we'll definitely be back! The coaching and drills have massively improved my game; before this week my netplay was non-existent - now I'm approaching the net with joy (!) and managing to put a fair few away! The coaches were patient, attentive and passionate about improving skills, whilst making everything fun and relaxed - which is such a perfect combintation for learning. But I think the thing that struck me the most was how invested they all were in improving your game - we were literally driving away in the taxi at the end of the holiday and Steve (who owns the company and therefore might have other things on his mind (!)) was hanging in the door giving my husband last tips to improve his forehand technique. This was our first experience of Active Away - and indeed of a tennis holiday of any kind - and, in every sense, it easily surpassed any expectations we might have had. We spent a week in an idyllically beautiful place cradled between sea and mountains. We played a great deal of tennis on fantastic courts with the most beautiful wooded mountains for a backdrop. The coaching programme covered a lot of ground and was always coherent and well thought out. It was also well-paced, well-staged, well-explained and very well delivered by a brilliant coaching team who worked well together and created, from the off, a lovely sense of enthusiasm and positive group energy. The coaches were also good fun and excellent company off the court. We also thoroughly enjoyed the company of the other members of the group. All in all, we had a lot of fun, learned a lot, played loads of tennis and had the time to enjoy the incredible range and quality of the facilities offered by the Liberty Lykia hotel - not to mention the amazing range of delicious food and the invariably courteous and helpful hotel staff. Several members of our group had been on Active Away holidays before, in some cases several times, and I can easily see ourselves going back. On the strength of our experience last week, I would recommend Active Away to anyone who would like to work on their doubles game while also having an altogether fantastic holiday!
