A friendly adult tennis holiday on Corfu’s wooded Kommeno peninsula, combining 22.5 hours of the Jamie Murray programme with a 1:6 coaching ratio, generous all-inclusive dining and a naturally shaded Blue Flag beach.
We make the most of the generous all-inclusive board basis throughout the week. Expect excellent coffee, premium drinks, relaxed buffet meals and two organised à la carte evenings with the group. The restaurants, beach bars and sociable meeting spaces give everyone plenty of opportunities to spend time together away from the courts.
The tennis park sits higher on the hillside, with a pleasant decked meeting area where the group gathers before sessions. The walk between the beach, accommodation and courts includes slopes, so comfortable footwear is useful. Once you arrive at the tennis centre, the courts are grouped together in a peaceful, tree-lined setting that works perfectly for our hosted programme.

Daphnila Bay combines a flexible main buffet with a varied collection of Greek, Italian and beachfront dining venues. Your Active Away package includes two organised à la carte group dinners only, subject to reservation and availability. The other venues below form part of the hotel's wider dining collection and should not be treated as additional Active Away à la carte inclusions.
Antica Cucina
The main buffet restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, combining Greek and international dishes with live cooking and barbecue selections. Its flexible service makes it the natural choice around coaching sessions and group plans.
Il Gattopardo Bar Restaurant
An elegant contemporary Italian restaurant serving dinner, with classic Italian flavours, Mediterranean influences and carefully presented dishes.
Tavernaki
Set beside the water, Tavernaki specialises in Greek mezze, freshly baked bread and sharing plates. Its informal waterfront setting makes it particularly well suited to a sociable group dinner. This is the other planned Active Away à la carte venue, subject to availability.
Asia Oliva
A beachfront restaurant offering Asian dishes and sushi for lunch and dinner. This is one of the venues planned for an included Active Away à la carte evening, subject to availability.
Danilia Village
Grecotel operates a dine-out experience at Danilia Village, a recreation of a traditional Corfiot village. It is away from Daphnila Bay and transport is not included. It is not part of the two Active Away group dinners unless specifically confirmed otherwise.
Patisserie, Chocolaterie and Creperie
Sweet options are available throughout the day, including pastries, cakes and chocolate in the hotel lounges, plus crepes, waffles and gelato beside the beach.
Bars
Whether you are meeting the group before dinner or cooling down after tennis, Daphnila Bay offers several relaxed places for a drink. The all-inclusive selection includes local and international drinks, premium options, cocktails, wines, soft drinks, juices and excellent coffee, with service times varying by outlet.
Mandolato Beach Bar
A relaxed beachfront spot for a drink after tennis, with comfortable seating, music and views across the bay.
Kumquat Pool Bar
Convenient for drinks and light refreshments beside the main outdoor pool, particularly during the break between morning and afternoon tennis.
Il Barreto Wine Library
A dedicated wine room with more than 150 labels from Greece and around the world, including organic and vegan wines.
Lobby Bar
The main social meeting point for Active Away guests. It is ideal for morning coffee, pre-dinner drinks and catching up with the group after tennis.
Your stay is on a generous all-inclusive basis. Antica Cucina serves buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner, making it the most flexible option around the tennis programme. The resort also provides daytime snacks, a patisserie and chocolaterie, a beachside creperie and gelateria, and late-night snacks between 23:00 and 01:00.
Local and international drinks are served from approximately 10:30, with closing times varying between outlets. The selection includes wines, cocktails, spirits, soft drinks, juices and coffee.
Your Active Away package includes exactly two à la carte dinners, planned for Sunday and Tuesday. These are organised as group meals at the hotel's Asian and Greek restaurants, with the order and final venues confirmed in resort according to availability. No additional à la carte dinners are included.
The hotel's all-inclusive service ends at 17:00 on departure day.
Daphnila Bay occupies a wooded hillside on Corfu's Kommeno peninsula, overlooking the bay of Dassia and the Ionian Sea. Rooms and facilities are spread between the main building, gardens and beach level, with pine, olive and cypress trees providing natural shade.
The quiet Blue Flag sandy beach is part of the resort, although reaching it from the upper hotel areas involves walking downhill. The same applies in reverse when returning to the rooms or tennis park, so guests should expect slopes and some steps.
Seasonal complimentary sea transfers operate between the Grecotel resorts on the Kommeno peninsula. Taxi boats and other services to Corfu Town are available at an additional charge and remain subject to weather and seasonal schedules.
Daphnila Bay's floodlit tennis park contains six Astro Turf tennis courts and one outdoor padel court. The surface provides a comfortable, slightly cushioned playing experience and is well suited to the drills, coached doubles and competitive sessions used throughout the Jamie Murray programme.
Active Away's main sessions are planned across four tennis courts, supporting the 1:6 coaching ratio and typical group size of 24. Masterclasses and the coaches' exhibition use a dedicated court, allowing the whole group to watch demonstrations together.
The courts sit in the resort's pine-filled gardens, a short uphill walk from the main hotel and beach areas. Extra tennis or padel court time may be available through the hotel, subject to availability and any applicable charge.
Your group dinners are organised
Active Away organises the two included à la carte dinners for Sunday and Tuesday. Your host will confirm the restaurant, meeting time and arrangements in resort, so you do not need to make a separate reservation.
Bring comfortable footwear
Daphnila Bay is built into a hillside. Expect slopes between the beach, accommodation, main hotel and tennis park.
Try the coffee
The coffee is a genuine highlight, particularly the iced caramel latte from the main bar.
Explore Corfu Town
Corfu Town is ideal for Wednesday's day off. Taxis, buses and seasonal boat services are available, but transport is not included.

It was my first time on an Active Away holiday and would definitely book again. Despite being different to other tennis holidays I have been on (La Manga and Nielsen), where the delivery of the session(s) allows you to practice tennis skills with each other (that has many advantages), as in it allows you to meet and play with people of different tennis strengths. It was very well organised with opportunity for 1:1 or 2:1 coaching in between, should that be an additional desire. Lovely hotel, food. Great weather!

I had a brilliant time at the Active Away all inclusive tennis holiday in Daphnila Bay, Corfu. Excellent coaching team, hosted by Alex Juniper & his team Ciaran Mould, Alex Rice & Peter Kasparek. 22.5 hours of coaching with drills in the morning & match play in the afternoon. There was plenty of down time to explore this beautiful town & enjoy the wonderful beaches & walks.This is also a perfect holiday for a tennis enthusiast travelling solo as everyone was friendly & inclusive. The host ensured everyone was integrated & although you may travel with a group, I had the opportunity to meet & play with people from other clubs.I highly recommend Active Away as they take all the stress out of booking a tennis break, communication & follow up is excellent from the Admin team. I will be booking again in the future👍

If you love playing tennis, you cannot do better than booking an Active Away Tennis holiday! Everything is organised incredibly well from beginning to end and nothing is too much trouble. We had never been on a holiday like it and were blown away by Matt, his incredible team of coaches - who also host - and all the other participants! Itinerary
Welcome to Corfu. If you have booked an Active Away airport transfer add-on, a representative will meet you at Corfu Airport for the approximately 25-minute journey to Daphnila Bay. If you are making your own way, share your expected arrival time in the participant WhatsApp group so your host knows when to welcome you.
Once you have checked in, take some time to settle into your room, explore the resort and meet other guests as they arrive. Dinner is available at Antica Cucina, subject to your arrival time and the hotel's current service.
If you arrive after dinner, a cold plate may be available, but this cannot be guaranteed. Please tell Active Away your expected arrival time in advance so the hotel has the best opportunity to arrange something for you.
Across the week, you will enjoy 22.5 hours of the Jamie Murray tennis programme at a 1:6 coaching ratio. The times shown are representative of the confirmed 2027 court bookings, with exact arrangements confirmed by your host.
Begin with breakfast at Antica Cucina before meeting the Active Away team and your fellow players. We will introduce the coaching team, explain how the week works and make sure everyone is ready for the first session.
From 10:00 to 12:00, Rally Rhythm helps you establish your timing, movement and consistency across four Astro Turf courts. It also allows the coaches to see everyone play and balance the groups as closely as possible.
After lunch, there is time to relax beside the pool or on the beach. Return for a 30-minute Warming Up to Win masterclass at 16:30 in spring or 15:30 in autumn. The afternoon session follows from 17:00 to 19:00 in spring or 16:00 to 18:00 in autumn.
Tonight is your first included à la carte dinner. The group will dine at either Asia Oliva or Tavernaki, with the venue and time confirmed in resort according to availability.
After breakfast, meet your group from 10:00 to 12:00 for Spanish Drills: Train Like the Pros. Expect energetic, purposeful practice designed to improve movement, consistency and your ability to repeat effective patterns under pressure.
Lunch is available at Antica Cucina before a well-earned break. The afternoon begins with a 30-minute Mental Matchplay Mastery masterclass at 16:30 in spring or 15:30 in autumn. The coaches will explore focus, resilience and the routines that help you respond positively between points.
The main afternoon session follows from 17:00 to 19:00 in spring or 16:00 to 18:00 in autumn. Serve and Return focuses on beginning points with greater clarity before Mind Over Match turns those ideas into coached point play and tactical doubles situations.
Dinner is at Antica Cucina, giving everyone a relaxed opportunity to refuel and catch up after a full day on court.
Tuesday begins with The Art of the Approach from 09:30 to 10:00. This masterclass looks at recognising the right ball, choosing an effective approach and moving forward with purpose.
From 10:00 to 12:00, Transition Triumph connects your baseline game with more confident movement towards the net. You will develop your approach shots, positioning and first volley across four courts.
After lunch and time away from the courts, the Active Away Continental Cup takes centre stage. Played from 17:00 to 19:00 in spring or 16:00 to 18:00 in autumn, Europe takes on the Rest of the World in a lively team competition with different partners and plenty of encouragement.
Tonight is your second and final included à la carte dinner, held at either Asia Oliva or Tavernaki according to availability. No further à la carte dinners are included in the Active Away package.
Wednesday is your day off, giving you the freedom to make the holiday your own. Stay in resort and relax beside the pool or on the beach, use the gym, or book a treatment at Elixir Spa.
If you would like to explore, Corfu Town is a popular choice. You could also arrange a boat trip or another island experience. Spa treatments, excursions, boat trips and transport are available at an additional charge and remain subject to availability.
There is no organised group dinner this evening. The all-inclusive buffet remains available at Antica Cucina, or you can make your own plans away from the resort.

After breakfast, return to court from 10:00 to 12:00 for Doubles Disruption. This session explores positioning, purposeful movement and less predictable patterns that can take opponents out of their preferred rhythm.
Following lunch and time to relax, meet for The Psychology of Doubles at 16:30 in spring or 15:30 in autumn. The coaches will demonstrate how communication, decision-making and planned disruption can help a partnership perform more effectively.
Your afternoon session follows from 17:00 to 19:00 in spring or 16:00 to 18:00 in autumn. Disrupt and Dominate puts the morning's ideas into competitive doubles situations, using variety and teamwork to create pressure.
Tonight the group returns to Antica Cucina for a relaxed buffet dinner.
Your final tennis day begins with Bullseye Battle from 09:00 to 11:00. This accuracy-focused session encourages you to play with clearer targets, better margins and greater purpose.
From 11:00 to 13:00, the Active Away Tour Finals bring together the technical, tactical and mental skills developed during the week. The emphasis is on friendly competition, different match-ups and finishing the programme positively.
After lunch, return for the coaches' exhibition from 17:00 to 18:00 in spring or 16:00 to 17:00 in autumn. The presentation follows, celebrating the week's tennis, memorable moments and new friendships.
The final dinner takes place at Sailing Club Restaurant in Corfu Town. This meal and transport are not included, so guests should allow approximately €10 for travel and €50 for dinner.
Enjoy a final breakfast at Antica Cucina before checking out and beginning your journey home. Your host will share the relevant collection details for guests using an Active Away transfer add-on.
Flights and airport transfers are not included as standard. If you are arranging your own transport, allow sufficient time for the approximately 25-minute journey, taking traffic and airport requirements into account.
You leave with 22.5 hours of focused tennis behind you, along with clearer doubles patterns, matchplay experience and plenty of new memories.

Corfu Town is approximately 12 km from Daphnila Bay and normally takes around 20 to 30 minutes by car, depending on traffic. Local buses, taxis and seasonal boat services may be available, but transport is not included.
Exactly two à la carte dinners are included in the Active Away package. These are organised group meals, subject to the hotel's availability. No additional à la carte dinners are included or available through this package.
Yes. A Climate Crisis Resilience Fee of €10 per room, per night applies from 1 April to 31 October. It is paid directly to the hotel at checkout.

The tennis park contains six Astro Turf tennis courts and one outdoor padel court. Active Away's main coaching sessions use four tennis courts.

Airport transfers are not included as standard but may be available as an add-on. The journey from Corfu Airport takes approximately 25 minutes, depending on traffic.

The hotel caters for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, nut-free and other dietary requirements. Tell Active Away before travelling and confirm any allergies with the hotel when you arrive.
