This is the second holiday we've taken with Active Away and it didn't disappoint. The week was great fun and my tennis definitely improved. The passion and commitment of the coaches is what really makes the difference - it's a great team, lots of helpful guidance and lots of fun. We'll be booking again next year.

My 4th tennis week with Liberty Lykia and Active Away. Excellent as I have come to expect(!) with great accommodation in a beautiful setting with brilliant coaches and a lovely group of guests to play tennis and socialise with. Will be booking again and highly recommend.

I’ve just come back from an incredible week with Active Away and honestly can’t recommend it enough. The coaching was outstanding — technical, encouraging and genuinely game-changing in how you think about tennis. I came away playing better than I have in years. I had private lessons with Amelia (woohoo go Amelia 🙌) and Ollie, and somehow managed to hit the best forehand of my life. What really makes Active Away special though is the atmosphere. It’s fun, social, motivating and full of people who just love tennis. The balance of coaching, match play, fitness and downtime is spot on, and the whole week feels incredibly well run without ever being overly formal. I’ve come home completely hooked on improving my tennis again — already looking at dates for the next trip 🎾

This was our second trip to Liberty Lykia and this time we returned with ten others from our club! If you love tennis and like late, winter, October sun, excellent food, sunset cocktails, swimming in the warm sea, music in the evenings and socialising with like minded people - then this is the perfect holiday. Considering the level of luxury, range of restaurants and facilities and inclusivity of food and drink in this resort - the price point is extremely reasonable. The enthusiasm, energy, tennis knowledge and personable qualities of the coaching team create a positive and fun environment. I went home with lots of tennis strategies to try and implement in my game.

Active Away have truly built something special for tennis lovers. We travelled with our 7-year-old, and it was honestly the best holiday he’s ever had! The coaching was fantastic for both kids and adults, and the positive energy from all the coaches and organisers made the whole experience really enjoyable. Liberty Lykia is a stunning location - the food was amazing, the scenery beautiful, and the water park was a huge hit with the children (and adults!). We were especially impressed by the attention the coaches gave the kids, from taking them up to the water park to sitting with them at mealtimes. We’d highly recommend this holiday to any family who loves tennis, and we can’t wait to be back soon!

Another amazing week of coaching and match play in a fantastic resort. Met so many lovely people and played some great tennis. Our coaches were superb. Nothing was too much trouble and the time and dedication put into this week was absolutely excellent from start to finish. Would 100% recommend. Thank you for a wonderful week. We loved it!

My wife and I have done several holidays with Active Away. With more booked for next year. Once you try one you just want more. It’s a lot more than just a tennis holiday. It’s a fantastic social event with like minded people, and amazing coaches.

We were Activaway newbies, who booked as a group of twelve to stay at Liberty Lykia in Turkey. The hotel was superb, the staff, the food and facilities were all excellent The Activaway team were amazing from start to finish. The tennis coaching was very good, and nothing was too much trouble. They were also friendly and approachable at all times. It was great to meet all the other tennis mad guests and not only play with them, but socialise with them too. There were some small gripes. All the pools were freezing, (colder than the sea!) in early October! Brrr! The rooms however, were too warm for sleeping, as the hotel turned off the cooling function. The units just blow ambient air throughout the hotel. They did offer the cooling between 3pm to midnight, but that didn’t really help, as we were out every evening. After midnight the temperature would rise and become uncomfortable during the small hours. Why not have the A/C on from 11pm to 6am? They brought a fan, which helped but is not the same as A/C. The Turkish Night had an amazing dancer, but the tables were arranged in such a way that half the guests had their backs to the stage! We were eating when she started her performance, and so we missed most of it. We assumed that after the meal, there would be more dancing, but it was over. We paid a €20 supplement each for the evening and this didn’t represent value for money. Apart from these points, everything else was wonderful and we had a thoroughly enjoyable holiday. The Active Away holiday at Liberty Lykia is superb. Tennis coaching standard is very high and the course is well structured. The week flew by with lots of tennis and fun activities. We all felt welcomed and made many new friends. It was the first time for us but won’t be the last!!

Been on several holidays now and will be a repeat attendees

Just back from a week at Liberty Lykia, Turkey and had the best time. This was my 5th AA holiday and they just get better.The communication and organisation is exceptional in all areas, from the booking process through to the transfer home. The coaching programme is excellent and it is delivered by the most talented and enthusiastic coaches. Nothing is too much trouble for the coaching team and they look after you so well on court and off as their social programme is as good as their tennis programme! It’s the little things that always impress me. You are always met by the coaches at the airport. The team always encourage you to eat and socialise with them. Really important for solo travellers. There were more than 50 clients in our group, 6 people per coach and they always know your name and your playing standard. There is no pressure, it is all about having fun and improving your doubles match play at the same time. When you are leaving, the coaching team always come to see you off wish you well with genuine kindness.The resort and location is stunning. The customer service from the hotel staff is top class and the food and amenities are all you could ask forMatt and his team are second to none. They understand the value in providing excellent customer service which can be evidenced by the number of people who go back time and time again.I cannot recommend Active Away enough to anyone interested in trying a tennis or padel coaching holiday. You won’t regret it! 😊

We have just returned from our very first Active Away holiday. It exceeded all expectations. We were with a wonderful team of coaches led by our lively host Matt. The group drills followed by matches in the afternoon were such fun. The evening entertainment was superb and you could join in but also take a break if you wanted. All so flexible. We went on the Turkey - Liberty Sentido Experience. It was absolutely beautiful. You will love the legendary Active Away Team! From point of booking to point of leaving the hotel at the end of the holiday (sad at that point!), they take you under their wing and show you the best luxury holiday and tennis experience you will ever have. This was my first Active Away holiday. I learned a great deal about tennis which I did expect. What I didn’t expect was that I joined a family, I met so many people who return year after year. This is testament to the Active Away team who really did bring the group together like a family and we were a total of 40!!!!!

Great learning drills with like minded people

These guys have it down to a fine art....excellent team, fantastic locations, great itinerary and content and a real family feel to the group. Organising group holidays isn't easy but Active Away do it brilliantly and keep me coming back time and time again! Got back last night and already on the website looking at dates for next year!

The resort offers numerous activities , AA also offered a taster Padel session which was great fun . Steve’s professionalism and passion for tennis really bubbles over and makes for a great week . We all booked again before we left so it must have been good !

I had just the most amazing holiday with Active Away in Turkey. For me the coaching was just unreal. The coaches were superb in terms of their knowledge and skills and in transferring that to all abilities. As an under confident and late to tennis person, I just loved the way they brought you along and adapted to the level you were at. My confidence has grown and most importantly my love for the game ! The team were inclusive, kind and fun. I also loved on the final day after our games watching their exhibition match sipping prosecco in the sunshine and having great craic with the other participants! Thank you so much . Having been on many different group tennis holidays now with a handful of different companies, Active Away are the best by a country mile! The holidays are so well organised with a balance between drills in the morning and play-time in the afternoons. Coaching standards were very high and I say this from a tennis club-member perspective. The coaches were super nice, welcoming, and constantly asked us if they could do anything to improve our time with them. The 13 coaches on this holiday mingled with us during the evening meals; they did demos for us of doubles tactics etc before the morning sessions; they offered private lessons for a fee in between the sessions. I took advantage of a Padel taster session on our day off in the middle of this holiday and loved it - this was taken by two of the coaches, who obviously knew their stuff regarding this new sport as well. The resort at Liberty Lykia - 5-star - was the best resort I have ever been to. 18 astroturf courts, surrounded by mountains on one side, a clear blue sea on the other - with a private beach. It had many pools with one infinity heated pool with a bar situated next to it - everything free in the bar including ice creams and snacks. It offered things like archery, football, mini golf, shops, restaurants, bars - everything you could wish for on a holiday. You looked up to the sky during tennis sessions and saw many paragliders in the sky above - you could even book to tandem paraglide with a company whereby you landed on the beach at the resort! I would thoroughly recommend Active Away if you are looking to take a tennis holiday - by far the best out there. I will definitely go with this company again in the future.

I had the most wonderful time with Active Away on an adult tennis holiday in Turkey recently. The coaching is unreal and such high quality. The coaches are knowledgeable , skilled , enthusiastic , kind fun and can adapt their teaching to all abilities.
