This is absolutely the best tennis holiday you can do. Top quality coaching, fantastic group atmosphere, beautiful resort- and the food/drink was exceptional. But the real differential for Active Away is the care, thought and effort that the amazing coaches put in, to deliver an absolutely fantastic trip for their guests both on and off the courts.

I absolutely loved every second of my tennis week. The resort was fabulous, with amazing staff—but of course, I came for the tennis, so that was just a bonus. I was completely out of my comfort zone. I was coming off an eight-week break due to a shoulder injury and definitely not match-fit. As someone relatively new to tennis, I knew my level was on the lower side and felt genuinely intimidated by what was ahead. But the three coaches were fantastic, each bringing their own strengths. George stood out with his organisation and clear explanations. Mike’s enthusiasm and genuine kindness made me feel welcome and valued. And Matt, with his perfectly delivered deadpan humour, kept us all smiling. By the end of day two, I honestly wanted to go home. But the encouragement I received kept me going—and by the end of the week, I’d been named Most Improved Player and felt confident playing even the strongest players in the group. I’m so proud of how far I came. From breakfast conversations to evening dinners, the group of 17 quickly felt like old friends. It was a brilliant experience with brilliant people. Would I recommend Active Away? Without hesitation—yes!

17 total strangers came together like a dispersed family with a shared tennis interest and the common desire to enjoy a memorable week. I am terminally ill. I can offer no greater compliment than to say that if this prove to have been my last holiday, it was worthy of being so. Great Coaches. Great Participants. Great Venue. Great Time.

This was my first tennis holiday and it totally exceeded all of my expectations. I loved every aspect of it. The tennis coaching was superb, the organization was very good and the balance of tennis and relaxation was great. Being a part of a group, playing tennis and coming together for meals etc was fantastic. The resort was beautiful and the fact that it was all inclusive made it very easy. The staff in the resort were extremely good. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I will be booking again. Thank you to everyone involved.

This was our first trip with Active Away. We came all the way from the west coast of the United States. It was worth the trip as the Active Away team handled all aspects of the trip seamlessly. We learned a lot about doubles strategy. The instruction was amazing and delivered with a high level of energy every day. Would definitely consider another trip.

Brilliant coaching and great fun in the sun!

We spent a week with George, Matt, Mike and a truly wonderrful group of fun people at Ikos Aria. It was a special week. It felt like an extended family event. A group of just 17. The boys offered a perfect mix of different personalities. George cared that everything ran smoothly. Mike cared that we all had a laugh and a great time. Matt cared about tormenting Mike for our amusement and sharing his amazing tennis talent. I'm so glad I spent this time with my wife in the company of these lovely people in this relaxing place playing tennis.It was all inclusive including the banter, camaraderie and care. I feel blessed.

Fantastic week at Ikos in Kos. The coaches Cam, Sam and Josh were simply brilliant, great transfer of knowledge and skills, felt i came away a much better player albeit with tired legs, but put that down to the dancing. Our fellow guests were delightful, fun and entertaining. Will definately return and can’t recommend highly enough. The resort is first class and the service and attention to detail by the staff is exceptional.

This was my first tennis holiday. It was great fun, largely due to the professionalism, cheerfulness, and organisation of our host, Josh Thompson. The location was beautiful, and a good time was had by all.

The ikos aria resort on Kos island was stunning, gorgeous gardens, pools and restaurants. The food was outstanding with so much choice! The tennis hosting and coaching was superb. Josh T , Josh P and Owen built our tennis confidence and taught us so many tactics to help improve our doubles game. It was great to meet other players and get a good amount of match play practice! It was so much fun! We will definitely return.

Yet another superb tennis holiday at Akos Aria in Kos. Josh and Harry were so positive and encouraging in the coaching sessions. They offered inspirational motivation all week.
